“Business is all about managing risks”. With this in mind, the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, Inc. (SONAME) and the Philippine Register of Shipping, Inc. joined hands in concluding the “Seminar on Basic Practical Enterprise Wide Risk Management” as instructed by Mr. Carlos H. Yturzaeta, CPA last June 25, 2016 at Kalaw, Ermita, Manila.
Companies have been practicing what could very well be part of the enterprise wide risk management function. This seminar provides an understanding of basic enterprise-wide risk management, the process, and approach in obtaining benefits from it.
At the end of this seminar, the participants were able to highlight risk management as a process of planning, organizing, leading and controlling the activities of an organization hence minimizing the adverse effect of accidental losses at reasonable cost.
This seminar provides the framework of defining risks throughout the most important aspects of the company’s processes to ensures that its service to its clients are carried out under real controlled conditions producing excellent performance without a doubt.
