United in our common aspiration for promotion of safe seas, the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, Inc. (SONAME) and the Philippine Register of Shipping (PRS) will be staging its first joint “SONAME-PRSGOLF CUP” on May 12, 2017 at the Aoki Course, Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club, Cavite City. This coincides with the celebration of 67 years of Naval Architecture in the Philippines and the 28th Founding Anniversary of PRS.
Proceeds from this golf tournament will be allocated to projects & initiatives on the promotion of maritime safety in the country e.g. technical training for industry practitioners on probabilistic damage stability, acquisition of latest engineering softwares, etc.
